Set
between the South Downs and the coast near Chichester, Willowbrook offers friendly and relaxed accommodation in a semi
rural village. At the front of the house there is a large block paved car park with garden views over paddocks and
farmland. Children are welcome but please note we have no facilities for the very young e.g. cots. No smoking indoors please.
Single, twin, double, triple and family rooms are available with remote control colour TV with Freeview,
ceiling fan, free WIFI internet access, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryer. There is a guest private
bath / shower room and a ground floor twin room with guest private w.c.
Full English breakfasts are served
with vegetarian alternatives by prior arrangement with flexible serving times.
Pets are welcome by arrangement.
Approximate driving times to some local attracions are : Goodwood (15 mins), Chichester with its Edwardian buildings,
Festival theatre and cathedral and the harbour and marina areas (10 mins) , Tangmere Military Avation Museum (15 mins.), Weald
and Downland Open Air museum (20 mins), South Downs National Park (5 mins), Fishbourne Roman Palace (10 mins), Bosham Church
Quay(10 mins), Arundel Castle and cathedral (30 mins), Fontwell Park(25 mins), West Wittering beach(20 mins), Hayling
Island (10 mins.) and Portsmouth with HMS Victory, Warrior and the Mary Rose(25 mins). The South Downs cycle route and
coastal path are also nearby.

Directions
Hambrook is near the Hampshire / West Sussex
border, four miles west of Chichester and four miles east of Havant between the A259 and the A27 ( n.b. there is no A27 /
Hambrook exit road ). BY RAIL : Nutbourne railway staion is approximately one kilometer away and is
on the Chichester to Havant route.
BY BUS : There is a bus service from Havant to Brighton. The stop is at
the Barleycorn pub at Nutbourne and is about one mile from Willowbrook.
DRIVING : From the A27 at Havant
travelling east towards Chichester :
Just past the Havant exit, take the EMSWORTH exit. At the bottom of the
exit road turn right at the roundabout, going under the A27 and straight over the roundabout on the other side, joining the
A259. Stay on this road for about 3 miles, passing through Emsworth and Southbourne. About a mile past Southbourne ,
with the Barleycorn pub on your right, turn left into Broad Road at the Hambrook sign. Travel up Broad Road for about three
quarters of mile then turn left into Priors Leaze Lane just past the shop on the left. After 50 yards turn right
into Hambrook Hill South. We are first on the left.
From the A27 at Chichester travelling west towards Portsmouth
:
Take the first exit at the large roundabout on the A27 Chichester bypass signposted to Fishbourne on the A259.
Stay on this road for about three miles passing through Fishbourne, Bosham and Chidham. A half mile past the Chidham sign
turn right into Broad Road at the bollards. Travel up Broad Road for about three quarters of a mile then turn left into
Priors Leaze Lane just past the shop on the left. After 50 yards turn right into Hambrook Hill South. We are first on
the left.
Access Statement
The block paved car park,
to the front of the property, is large enough for trailers and lorries and leads directly to the porch entrance. Guests with
allergies should be aware there are stables with horses and two dogs living onsite.
There is a 130mm step
from the car park onto the porch and a further 110mm x 170mm doorstep from the porch into the main hallway. The porch is
illuminated by two outside lights in the evening.
There are smoke detectors fitted indoors with "In case
of emergency" directions in each bedroom and a wind up torch in the top drawer. All bedrooms have fitted carpets, central
and bedside lighting; each with its own room and front door key. Everywhere is well lit.
The house is on two levels.
The ground floor is level with carpeting throughout with one twin room with a large window. There is also a separate W.C.
with a tiled floor, toillet and wash basin. The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor.
The
staircase to the first floor is 820mm wide with a stair rail on the left hand side and a wall on the right. The stairs
are wooden with a carpeted track 500mm wide in the centre of each step. There are five steps to a rectangular landing
to turn a corner, followed by seven steps to the upstairs hallway. Each step is approximately 190 mm in height.
The family rooms are located off the hallway with a handrail on the left hand side. The hallway is well lit and uncluttered. The
first family room has a double bed with bunk beds. The second family room has a double bed and a single
bed.
The upstairs bathroom floor is tiled and has a toilet, washbasin, electric shaving socket with a bath
and separate shower (with non slip mats). There is a 260mm step up to the shower cubicle with the door opening to a width
of 500mm.
Breakfast is served in the downstairs living room / dining area. Guests will be asked the
night before about preferred breakfast time ( between 07:30 and 10:00 ) and if they would prefer cereal and toast or a cooked
breakfast. Vegetarian and other requests can usually be catered for , but please inform us at the time of booking.
There is always someone on site at night who would offer assistance should an emergency occur. Assistance will be willingly
given, if requested and is within our capability.
